Anna began working in topless bars in Houston, where she was actually noticed more for her rear than for her breasts. Her attributes were noticed by a photographer, and she quickly realized that she could use her body as a career tool. Anna's childhood dream had always been to become the next Marilyn Monroe, and this inspired her to make a name for herself.

After some cosmetic surgery, Anna was ready for the big time, and headed in the same direction as Marilyn Monroe. She entered the Playboy Cover Contest, and appeared on the cover of the magazine at the age of 24. Two years later in 1993 she was crowned Playmate of the Year.

Anna was born Vicki Lynn Hogan on November 28, 1967, in Mexia, Texas. Her father abandoned her and her mother when she was a child, and Anna was raised by her mother and aunt. When she was 17, Anna married Billy Smith, and that same year their son Danie was born into the world. Her life with Billy was short lived, and Anna now as a mother headed to Houston to turn over a new leaf. It was in Houston where Anna began her career dancing in topless bars.

She made her big screen debut in the 1994 slapstick comedy, "Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult", followed by an appearance in "The Hudsucker Proxy", starring Tim Robbins.

Anna's life has been about money, sex, drugs and even rock 'n' roll, she has also been labelled a beautiful plaything, a sexy blond vixen, and a conniving misguided gold digger.

Her marriage to oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall, sixty years her senior occurred on the 27th of June 1994. Anna had remained low profile, until Marshall's death in 1995. Marshall had left Anna with an inheritance, which was hotly contested by his heirs who claimed that she should not receive the wealth of his estate. Marshall's heirs accused her of mistreating him in his last few days and marrying him for his money. Anna was awarded $450 million after a court battle, to the chagrin of Marshall's family and heirs.

On August 4th, 2002, the E! channel began airing its first season of The Anna Nicole Show. Although Anna had gained a considerable amount of weight, viewers tuned in to watch Anna make a fool of herself week after week.

Before the second season started, producers of the show demanded that Anna drop some weight before shooting began, and with the help of TrimSpa, a supplement that claims to block fat from entering the body, Anna has trimmed down significantly and reportedly lost 80 pounds.

Although Anna Nicole now looks great, she no longer has a TV audience: The Anna Nicole Show was canceled in 2004, but we're confident that she'll have other projects on her plate soon enough.
