Christina Milian was born in Jersey City in 1981 from Cuban American parents. The family moved to Maryland soon after her birth and Milian set her heart on an entertainment industry career at the age of four. At 13, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in show business.

Her first significant role was as a reporter on the Disney Channel's Movie Surfers show in 1998 billed as Tina Flores. While in this role she also started appearing in minor roles in A Bug's Life and American Pie and in guest appearances on television shows Charmed, Clueless and Get Real.

In 2000, Christina Milian performed vocals on Ja Rule's song "Between You And Me" from his Rule 3:36 album - the song became a hit building a reputation. She also co-wrote the track "Play" for Jennifer Lopez's J. Lo album of 2001 which became another big hit as well as the song "Same Ol' Same Ol", the first single for girl group PYT's album Down With Me.

In 2001, Milian released her first single of her own "AM To PM", off her self-titled debut album. It became a worldwide hit reaching top 5 in the UK and Denmark, Top 10 in the Netherlands, and top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 and in Australia. The success of From AM To PM sparked the international release of the Christina Milian album although not in the US. The single "When You Look At Me" was another international hit going top 5 in the UK, Netherlands, and Ireland and making the top 40 in Denmark, Australia and France. She also featured on "It's All Gravy", a duet with Romeo of the garage group So Solid Crew. It was another UK top ten hit single in 2002. She also wrote and sang the theme song for the Disney series Kim Possible "Call Me Beep Me" in the same year.

Milian was appointed to host the Wannabes program on MTV in 2002. She met director Joseph Kahn on an episode of Wannabes who suggested she audition for a lead role in Torque opposite Ice Cube. Her audition was successful leading in turn to a lead role in Love Don't Cost a Thing in 2003. She will be in significant roles in a further two films to come out within a year of May 2004 - Cheer Up opposite Tommy Lee Jones and co-starring in Be Cool with John Travolta and Uma Thurman.

During 2003, Christina Milian recorded songs for her first US album It's About Time which is a reference to how long it has taken for an album to be released in the US. The first single "Dip It Low" was written by Polli Paul, who has also written songs for the Black Eyed Peas. As of May 2004, the first single has reached number one on a world composite dance chart (compiled on data from the US, UK, Germany, Japan, Italy and Australia) reached the top 3 in the UK and the top 40 in Australia. It has also been slowly climbing the Billboard Hot 100. The second single "Whatever U Want", features Joe Budden and once again reached the top 10 in the UK as well as charting in the Billboard Hot 100.

Peta Wilson Biography

Peta Gia Wilson (born November 18, 1970) is an Australian born actress and model.

Peta Gia Wilson (she believes she was named after Miss Australia 1970) was born November 18, 1970, in New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. The daughter of Darcy Wilson, a retired warrant officer, and Karlene, a caterer, Peta and her family moved more than a dozen times before finally settling down in Papua New Guinea (where her father was stationed), where she was raised.

In order to fit in as best she could, considering she was constantly switching schools, the self-proclaimed "army brat" tried to deal with being a social outcast by participating in sports (which she enjoyed anyway) and by pretending to be "into" whatever activity others were doing, thus performing every day of her adolescence.

While in Australia, she was the youngest woman on the national basketball team, and she was also an accomplished sailor, having been named Australian Champion Trailer Sailors along with her brother and father.

After these accomplishments, Peta decided to take off to Europe and pursue a modeling career. She worked as a model for several years and suffered from an eating disorder; she soon grew tired of modeling and decided to try her hand at acting.

Peta moved to Los Angeles in 1991, where she met her director boyfriend a short while after. She and Damian Harris moved into an apartment together, while Peta was taking acting lessons with coach Arthur Mendoza, from the Actors Circle Theater and a protg of the renowned Stella Adler. She was forced to study intensively with Mendoza, and also has Tom Waits at TomCats Repertory Group to thank for her acting abilities.

After her first role in Fool For Love, an Actors Circle Theater production, Peta was cast in the films The Sadness of Sex and Naked Jane, both in 1995. She appeared in the made-for-TV movie Woman Undone in 1996, as well as the series Highlander and Strangers, and the film Loser, also that year.

After a bit part in Vanishing Point, Peta was cast in her breakthrough role in 1997, as the title role in the series La Femme Nikita (a.k.a. Nikita). As Nikita/Josephine, a French superspy, Peta has helped make the Canadian-produced show one of the most successful in the US as well.

Peta (not to be confused with the organization for the ethical treatment of animals) made cameo appearances in 1997, in Raw is War. She has also appeared in the 1998 film One of Our Own and Mercy, 2 years later, directed by her then-boyfriend Damian Harris.

When not fighting crime on La Femme Nikita, Peta enjoys outdoor activities such as scuba diving, swimming, playing cricket, and gardening, and engages in alternative medicine like yoga and acupuncture.

Peta also funds causes that are important to her; she is presently working on founding a Julliard for disadvantaged children, and is raising money with her company, Psycht, which sells sunglasses, running shoes, watches, and other accessories. Peta has also founded a production company called Sweet Lick Productions.

While shooting La Femme Nikita in Toronto, Canada, Peta shares an apartment with her grandmother, in addition to her home in the Hollywood Hills. She is no longer dating Harris, although she was linked to Russell Crowe (then again, who hasn't?).

After smaller television projects like A Girl Thing (starring Elle MacPherson and Kate Capshaw) and Other People, the sexy Nikita star will next appear in the made-for-TV film Joe and Max.

Paris Hilton Biography

Paris Hilton was born on February 17th, 1981, to Rick and Kathy Hilton,
making her the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, founder of the
Hilton hotels and source of the family fortune -- estimated at $300
million. Her grandfather, Conrad "Nicky" Hilton, Jr., also brought some
notoriety to the family, as he was the first of Elizabeth Taylor's many
ex-husbands. Paris' younger sister, Nicky (born in 1983), shares the
throne as co-heiress of the Hilton empire.

Growing up in Manhattan's ritzy Waldorf-Astoria, the family's New York
home, as well as other Hilton digs in Beverly Hills and the Hamptons,
Paris didn't seem to yearn for much. Even after graduating from high
school, college didn't appeal to her. So, around the year 2000, Paris
decided to branch out and become famous.

She began to make a name for herself as a model, soon appearing in shows
for designers such as Marc Bouwer and Catherine Malandrino, and she later
completed an ad campaign for Iceberg, an Italian label. In addition,
Paris has posed for spreads in national magazines such as GQ, Vanity Fair
and FHM, and has also been profiled, along with her sister, in People
magazine.

At the same time, Paris became the center of attention because of her
relationships -- real or imagined by the paparazzi -- with some of
Hollywood's hottest young stars. In early 2000, Paris was spotted around
town with Leonardo DiCaprio. However, the press, especially the National
Enquirer, blew their casual friendship far out of proportion.
Nevertheless, she apparently dated Terminator 2's Edward Furlong for a
few months, and was later seen out and about with boxer Oscar de la Hoya.
Paris has also been linked with actor and Tommy Hilfiger model, Jason
Shaw, Sum 41 lead singer Derek Whibley, and Nick Carter of the Backstreet
Boys.

Paris, along with her younger sister Nicky, also became notorious as
socialites, gracing party after party and getting bad press for their
antics. For example, Paris has grabbed headlines by shoving ahead of
others in a washroom line, then, when upbraided for her rudeness, quipped
that she only wanted to look at herself in the mirror. She has also
danced on top of bar banquettes, gone topless for attention, and paraded
around in designer T-shirts with slogans like, "Got Blow?" Yet Paris
maintains that the bad press "sucks" and that "people are mean."

Perhaps in an effort to clean up her image, Paris has tried to make her
mark by working on more substantial projects. In 2001, she had a cameo
appearance in Ben Stiller's fashion spoof, Zoolander. Other appearances
include a role as a strung-out supermodel in the film short QIK2JDG, The
Hillz (co-starring boyfriend Jason Shaw), Wonderland, and the big-screen
adaptation of the Dr. Seuss classic, The Cat in the Hat. She also starred
in the FOX reality show, The Simple Life, based on Green Acres, and
featured Paris Hilton living on a farm. The show was such a success that
there will likely be a sequel.

On top of her burgeoning acting career, Paris has designed a high-end
collection of purses for Tokyo label Samantha Thavasa, along with her
sister Nicky. Paris has also given back; she has done charity work for
Toys for Tots. Unfortunately, her attempts to start a modeling company
and a makeup line seem to have fizzled.

Paris has also grabbed headlines thanks to a makeout session with
notorious lesbian, Ingrid Casares, and a sex tape starring Paris and ex
Rick Solomon that was released on the Net, and of course, spread like
wildfire.

Scarlett Johansson Biography

Scarlett Johansson, one of the most promising young Hollywood actresses, was born in Manhattan, New York (USA) on November 22, 1984 - on the 21st anniversary of the assassination of JFK. Even though a native New Yorker, Scarlett has an European background: her father is Dane, and her mother has a Polish background. She has an older half-brother who lives in Danmark and then two older siblings: Vanessa and Adrian. But Scarlett isn't the youngest in the family: her twin brother Hunter is 3 minutes younger!

At the tender age of 3 Scarlett discovered acting, when she told her mother: 'I have a fire in my brain to act.' But it wasn't until she was 7 (even though this too is very young) that she realised that acting could be a real profession. She gained this knowledge by watching films and going to auditions for ads. The latter was a suggestion of a family friend. But they didn't want Scarlett - only her brother - so she was disappointed. Finally, her mother realised how serious her daughter was and they started auditioning for films. She also enrolled in the Lee Strasberg Institute where she had the opportunity to perform in front of a live audience. Before Scarlett got a film role she made her professional acting debut opposite Ethan Hawke in the off-broadway production of 'Sophistry' at the age of 8.

Her first screen appearances followed in 'North', 'Just Cause', 'If Lucy Fell' and 'Fall'. Her parts in those films were only short, but it is remarkable that Scarlett coming from a non-acting family could get them. She had costars like Bruce Willis or Sean Connery. And even though her roles were short she added something to them that not many very young actors can, she gave them a personality - or maybe just hints of what this child could be if we were to see more of it. And - unlike at the ads - her raspy voice was helping her to be more than just a sweet child.

She first gained recognition as Manny in 'Manny & Lo'. She played the young runaway orphan perfectly, this certain coolness (or whatever you want to call it) that children in such unfortunate circumstances must have was there - even though Scarlett's life was quite protected. She made her breakthrough in Robert Redford's 'The Horse Whisperer', where she played troubled Grace. Grace who has lost her leg and her best friend in a terrible horse riding accident and is then trying to go on. The film itself may not only have got positive reviews but Scarlett's performance was great. And it was then that Robert made the famous statement: 'Scarlett is 13 going on 30'.

It is certainly this kind of maturity - an awareness of her surroundings and an awareness of other people - that helps her to portray her characters very realistically. After The Horse Whisperer, Scarlett took a break only to come back with a great Rebecca in 'Ghost World'. She played the 18 year old eccentric best friend of outcast Enid when she was only 15. 2001 marked the year for the release of 2 other high quality pictures featuring Scarlett: 'An American Rhapsody' and 'The Man Who Wasn't There'. These 3 films really improved her reputation as a talented and serious actress. 2002 followed with the 'Eight Legged Freaks' - a remake of B-Movies from the 50s. In this year Scarlett also finished high school (she attended Manhattan's Professional Children's School) and announced her plan to go to Purchase University, New York to study Film in 2003.

In 2002 Scarlett shot 3 films ('The Perfect Score' in Vancouver, 'Lost In Translation' in Tokyo and 'Girl with a Pearl Earring' in Luxembourg). The first to hit theaters was 'Lost In Translation'. It has been an instant hit ever since its World Premiere at the Venice Film Festival, where Scarlett won the Upstream Prize for Best Actress! Indeed her performance is stunning, even more so when you consider that Scarlett was just 17 when she played the newlywed twentysomething. Sofia Coppola's second film - which was shot in just 27 days with a very limited budget - was praised and loved both by critics and the audience. It did very well at the box office. Its highest position was #5 and it stayed in the top 20 until at least February 04. The adaption of a best-selling novel about Vermeer's painting (Girl with a Pearl Earring) joined the festival circuit months before opening in theaters. Scarlett's subtle performances in both films initiated raving reviews and headlines such as 'Scarlett Fever'. The fact that Scarlett was winning more and more awards led many journalists to the belief it was safe to drop the word Oscar in their Scarlett-praising articles. Overnight, Scarlett Johansson became the new big star, especially in Toronto, where two of her films were shown, she just stunned everyone with her naturality, freshness and lively interviews. Even though Scarlett welcomed the new attention - focusing on her acting she realised success would improve her choice of projects - she wasn't as pleased about being labeled the new 'It-Girl'.

Before success even could have hit her she started work on a project she had set her eyes on ever since 2000: Finances for 'A Love Song for Bobby Long' with John Travolta were finally secured and shooting started in New Orleans in Summer 2003 and finished before Scarlett set off for Venice and her journey of success. In the midst of the '03/04 Awards Season' and success of her films, Scarlett travelled to Italy to shoot 'A Good Woman', an adaption of an Oscar Wilde play with Helen Hunt and Tom Wilkinson. Even though working with Sofia Coppola on 'Lost In Translation' did strengthen her ambition to become a director herself she rejected her plans to go to Purchase University. She'd have to be there regularly, which would make it difficult to take on acting jobs. She'll rather just take courses from time to time and learn the rest right there on sets.

In some ways 2004 started out as a bad year for Scarlett. The long overdue 'The Perfect Score' was finally released. The critics (and the audience) didn't warm to the teen comedy. They just couldn't help comparing it to the extraordinary cineastic masterpieces 'Lost in Translation' and 'Girl with a Pearl Earring'. Although nominated twice for Best Leading Actress at the Golden Globes Scarlett ended up with empty hands. And she didn't get an Oscar nomination. After the prestigious awards ceremony in February Scarlett made first-hand experiences with awful gossip. It was said that she was making out with Benicio del Toro in a lift. A sarcastic joke she later made to Elle magazine was taken as fact by many and caused headlines throughout the net. Other stories concerning her love life and her relationship with her mother soon emerged. Clearly, the media wasn't gentle on Scarlett. In 2004 Scarlett also went public with her political beliefs: as a supporter of runner-up for democrat presidential candidate Howard Dean, Scarlett was wearing a Howard-Dean-badge to the 'The Perfect Score' premiere. When John Kerry ended up being the democrat candidate, she also supported his campaign on some occasions. Obviously, the re-election of George W. Bush as US president must have been some sort of setback for Scarlett.

But then 2004 also was the year for Scarlett: her work in 'Lost in Translation' and 'Girl with a Pearl Earring' have certainly been noticed and honoured. For example she won a Best Actress BAFTA - the British equivalent to the Oscars. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences (Oscar Academy) invited her to join the org. Should she have accepted she's now part of the grand jury. With her red carpet style Scarlett brought back glamour from years gone by. Comparisons to Hollywood icons Marylin Monroe, Lauren Bacall and others weren't rare. At the end of the year many magazines named her 'Best Newcomer' when naming the best dressed people in 2004. Apart from the movie world Scarlett's also active in the fashion world: Scarlett signed a contract with Calvin Klein to be the face for their new fragrance 'Eternity Moment' and was part of the fall/winter 04/05 campaign for Louis Vuitton.

Her new-found fame also led to more roles: She plays Dennis Quaid's daughter and Topher Grace's love interest in 'In Good Company' (shot in spring/early summer 04 and released in December). After some projects were delayed and caused a free schedule in summer, Woody Allen cast her in Matchpoint. In September Scarlett was part of the Venezia jury at the 61st Venice Film Festival and 'A Love Song for Bobby Long' also had its premiere there. After promotional work for Calvin Klein, a short vacation, getting her tonsils removed and making two appearances at the Hollywood Festival Scarlett started work on 'The Island', a sci-fi thriller directed by Michael Bay, co-starring Ewan McGregor and her biggest project to date. The studio production has an estimated budget in the $100mil range. Shooting started October 25, 2004 and is expected to finish in March 2005. One last thing: somewhen in 2004 Scarlett managed to contribute voice work to 'The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie'.

Again the hopes are high: Scarlett is nominated for a Golden Globe in 2005, and no matter what the outcome there are the releases of her movies to enjoy. And there are more to come: After finishing work on 'The Island' she'll costar with Josh Hartnett and Hillary Swank in the Brian De Palma's adaption of James Ellroy's The Black Dahlia' (shooting to start in April 05, after a delay). It looks as if Scarlett will be enjoying herself as she'll be able to do what she likes best: be on film sets and act. Lately she has definitely been a lot in the spotlight - was maybe even spoilt with attention and success - and yet she has stayed on the ground and is still very likeable as every article that is based on a real interview confirms. And there's still her directorial debut to look forward to…. whenever that will be, take your time Scarlett Johansson!

Over the years Scarlett's mother Melanie has always been there for Scarlett. Scarlett's parents separated soon after 'The Horse Whisperer'. Scarlett and twin brother Hunter stayed with their father in New York. Yet, when it came to movies her mother was always there, helping, reading scripts and accompanying her to film sets such as 'Lost in Translation'. In 2003 the parents were divorced and Scarlett has said in one interview she's now got a great stepdad. Around the same time Melanie started taking on Scarlett's management and she has also co-produced 'A Love Song For Bobby Long'. When Scarlett bought herself an apartment in Los Angeles it was in the same building her mother is living. And whenever the talk comes to her mother Scarlett is full of praise for her loving support - and apparently the two are really close.

Scarlett Johansson knows what she wants and what she likes and goes after it, she isn't in Hollywood to become famous but rather to build a lasting career. And yet, in choosing roles she isn't following a strict career plan but seems to just have a sense for extraordinary roles. So we can look forward to seeing many things coming from Scarlett Johansson.

Lindsay Lohan Biography

Actress, Singer, Party Animal Lindsay Lohan Biography

Lindsay Morgan Lohan was born in New York City on July 2, 1986. Her mother Dina is a former Radio City "Rockette" while her father Michael was a long-time Wall Street trader before he struck it rich with a family pasta business. He has now redirected his energies into film development and producing.

Along with her three younger siblings, Michael, Aliana and Dakota, Lindsay was raised in Long Island. Lindsay was such a natural beauty that she began modeling at the age of 3. In fact, she was the first redheaded child ever signed by the renowned Ford Modeling Agency.

But Lindsay Lohan wasn't just a pretty child; she was also talented. Capitalizing on her flair for performing, she was cast in over 60 TV commercials for companies such as Abercrombie & Fitch, Wendy's, the Gap, Pizza Hut, Calvin Klein, and Jell-O, in which she shared the screen with Bill Cosby.

When she was 7, Lindsay was required to dress up as garbage for a Halloween skit on the Late Show with David Letterman called "Things You Find on the Bottom of the Subway." It was her first real acting job.

In 1996, Lindsay got her second big break when she was cast on the long-running NBC soap opera, Another World. For only one season, she became the third actress to portray Alexandra "Alli" Fowler.

Shortly after, she hit the highway to fame when Disney sought to remake the hugely successful family comedy, The Parent Trap (1961). There was a six-month casting search and in January 1997, Lindsay got a phone call from director Nancy Meyers to announce that she had received the role that Hayley Mills made popular in the early '60s.

In the 1998 version, Lindsay starred as estranged twin sisters Hallie Parker and Annie James, who meet for the first time while at summer camp and later devise a plan to make their parents fall in love again. Not only was it a blockbuster, but Lindsay also came away with a Young Artist Award for Leading Young Actress, which she shared with Jena Malone (Stepmom).

In addition, she also got a three-picture deal with Disney, thanks to this movie. Although she turned down the part of Penny in Inspector Gadget (1999), her next move was to appear in the Wonderful World of Disney production of Life-Size (2000), a comedy also featuring supermodel Tyra Banks.

In 2000, Bette Midler was slated to star in a new sitcom called Bette, and Lindsay was cast as her daughter, Rose. But once the pilot was shot, the producers decided to move the production from New York to Los Angeles. Wanting to stay in New York, Lindsay left the sitcom. The show moved to California, actress Marina Malota replaced Lindsay, and 16 episodes later, Bette was canceled.

This left Lohan with some free time and she spent it shooting the Disney Channel Original Movie of the Month, Get a Clue (2002), in which she played a snooty school gossip columnist out to discover what happened to a missing teacher. After shooting, she took a short break from acting.

During this period, Lindsay decided to concentrate on her musical career. Having been in the entertainment industry for most of her life, she had received quite a few useful phone numbers over the years. In September 2002, music heavyweight Emilio Estefan, Jr. took Lindsay under his wing. She signed a five-album deal with Estefan Enterprises.

Next on her plate was another remake of a Disney classic. Along with Jamie Lee Curtis, Lohan was cast in Freaky Friday (2003) and reprised one of the early roles that made Jodie Foster a household name.

The body-swapping fantasy grossed over $100 million US domestically and allowed Lindsay to showcase her singing abilities in the movie. In fact, it's because of her song "Ultimate" that the soundtrack was propelled to Billboard's Top 20 in less than three weeks.

lindsay lohan vs. hilary duff

Then, Lindsay permanently relocated to Los Angeles and became child star Raven-Symone's roommate before briefly dating Aaron Carter (younger brother of Nick Carter, of Backstreet Boys fame). This became a favorite topic among gossip columnists, especially when Lindsay and Hilary Duff began feuding publicly over the teen pop star.

Lindsay got back in the saddle with the critically- and financially-disappointing Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004). A few months later, she made everyone forget about it by starring in the hit Mean Girls (2004), alongside Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert and Amanda Seyfried.

One of 2004's youngest "It" girls could soon be seen everywhere, from hosting Saturday Night Live in May and the MTV Movie Awards in June 2004, to appearing in magazines and tabloid TV shows. In 2005, Lindsay Lohan can add the movies Herbie: Fully Loaded (another Disney flick), Gossip Girl and Fashionistas to her resume. And she's staying busy well into 2007, with the release of I Dream of Jeannie in 2006 and Dramarama the following year.

As if Hollywood success weren't enough, Lindsay seems to be setting out to become a triple threat with the release of her debut album Speak in December 2004. But when she performed "Rumors" -- the first single off the album -- on Good Morning America, rumors began to swirl that she lip-synced, because there was a backing track playing.

When she's not on a movie set or at a photo shoot, Lindsay enjoys spending her free time rollerblading, swimming, doing gymnastics, and, according to tabloids, partying the night away.

Britney Spears Biography

Britney Spears biography

Britney Jean Spears was born on December 2, 1981, in Kentwood, Louisiana. She always knew she wanted to pursue a musical career and took her talents to her local church, where she sang with the choir. She even sang on national television, as a Star Search contestant.

At the age of 8, Britney auditioned for the popular children's variety show, The New Mickey Mouse Club, but was refused because of her young age. Luckily for Britney, one of the show's producers saw the young singer's talent and helped her find an agent in New York City.

Britney spent the next three summers in New York, where she studied at the famous Off Broadway Dance Center and at the Professional Performing Arts School. To add to the formation of a future international star, Britney appeared in commercials and off-Broadway shows, one of which showcased Britney as an innocent 10-year-old with a "bad girl" edge.

Three years after her first Mickey Mouse Club rejection, Britney finally landed a spot as a "Mouseketeer" at the age of 11. Joining a cast of talented teens on the show, Britney showed off her acting, dancing and singing talents on the show that also spawned the careers of fellow beauties Keri Russell and Christina Aguilera.

After two years of living in Orlando with her family while doing the show, Britney moved back home to Kentwood after the show was canceled, and returned to high school.

Her one normal year as a 14-year-old high school student would be the last bit of normalcy in Britney's life. With dreams of pursuing a career as a singer and a desire to leave her small hometown, Britney set off to New York City yet again, this time destined to sign with a major record label.

Britney finally signed with Jive Records, after an executive was fully impressed with the talent he heard on the demo tape. Working with Eric Foster White, a producer who had previously worked with artists such as Boyzone and Whitney Houston, Britney's debut album was finally ready for its January 12, 1999 release date.

...Baby One More Time spawned such hits as "Crazy," "Sometimes" and of course the title track, the infectious "...[Hit Me] Baby, One More Time." The album held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard charts, was certified RIAA 12 times platinum (it has gone on to sell more than 20 million copies), and won Britney awards such as the 1999 MTV Europe Awards for Best Female Artist, Best Pop Artist and Best Breakthrough Artist.

Between the release of her smash debut and the recording of her second album, Britney co-wrote a book with mom Lynne Spears, entitled Heart to Heart, and went on an extensive worldwide tour.

A huge Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson and Madonna fan, Britney was scrutinized by the media early on, with reports of a breast augmentation and a love affair with England's most eligible bachelor, Prince William.

With the Britney Spears hype nowhere near over, she returned to the music scene in 2000 with her follow-up album, entitled Oops!...I Did It Again. With a hit video accompanying the hit title track (in which Miss Spears definitely did it again, this time in a red latex catsuit), a second worldwide tour in support of her album, and millions of fans, Britney accomplished what few artists ever accomplish, at the mere age of 18.

Oops!...I Did It Again spawned hit singles like "Lucky," "Stronger" (with an accompanying video that features her performing a lap dance to a chair) and "Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know."

2001 was a banner year for the pop star, as she co-hosted the American Music Awards with L.L. Cool J; performed at the Rock in Rio festival (where audiences got a real glimpse of what she sounds like offstage -- and we don't mean her singing voice); performed with Aerosmith, 'N Sync, Nelly, and Mary J. Blige at the Super Bowl; appeared on a spoken-word CD of the Pope's prayers; and signed a multimillion-dollar endorsement deal with Pepsi.

While she danced with factory workers in a warehouse, impressing even Viagra-enhanced Bob Dole and his dog, Christina Aguilera starred in a Coca-Cola commercial, fueling more than just a soda pop war.

The mystery of her sudden physical maturity is still unsolved, but there are two rumors we can dispel: Britney was not cuddling up to Prince William, but rather a prince of pop, former 'N Sync singer Justin Timberlake. After their breakup and Justin's constant on-the-record interviews in which he stated that he and Britney did have sex, Britney finally admitted that she did in fact sleep with Justin (and added it was because she thought she would marry him).

And another rumor that was certainly not true is the one claiming that Britney and Justin were killed in a car crash in Los Angeles in 2001; it was just a prank courtesy of two radio personalities at Dallas radio station KEGL, who were later fired.

In 2001, the hardworking singer released her third and self-titled album, which spawned hits like "Overprotected," "I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman" and "Slave 4 U."

As if CDs, sold-out concerts, books (her second co-written book with her mother was released in April 2001, entitled A Mother's Gift), and a huge endorsement deal weren't enough, Britney starred in her first feature film, Crossroads in 2002 (although her only award win came from the Razzie Awards for Worst Actress), starred as host and performer on Saturday Night Live (in February 2002), had a cameo in Austin Powers in Goldmember, and even entered the restaurant industry with her own establishment, Nyla (which stands for her two favorite places, "NY" for New York and "LA" for her home state of Louisiana -- the restaurant has since closed).

But Britney's personal life was continuing to make headlines. After her public breakup with now solo singer Justin Timberlake in 2002 (after his song and video "Cry Me River," it seems like Brit cheated on him), the once chaste Miss Spears was making the tabloids and entertainment news shows for her heavy partying and rebellious lifestyle.

She even appeared at a movie premiere with bad boy Colin Farrell, and her many tattoos and confirmation that Justin indeed did have sex with Britney only added fuel to the fire. Throw in a nearly naked performance at the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards, a performance with caged animals and a snake at the following year's VMAs, and a very erotic video for the aforementioned "Slave 4 U," and it seemed like Britney was far from the good girl she once promoted herself to be.

But the saga continued. A few months before the release of her fourth album, In The Zone, Britney shocked audiences yet again at the VMAs, this time in a remixed rendition of Madonna's "Like A Virgin" and "Hollywood." Along with Christina Aguilera and dressed like a prostitute/bride, Britney kissed Madonna in one of the most memorable -- and scandalous -- moments of the year. The publicity surely helped and it seemed Madonna really meant it when she said she was a Britney fan, as the Material Girl appeared on the first single off In The Zone, "Me Against the Music," and co-starred in the video. In The Zone was released in November 2003, and debuted at No. 1 with more than 609,000 copies sold in its first week of release. That same month, Britney received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

But the stunt that really took the cake was Britney's quickie marriage to childhood pal, Jason Allen Alexander (not of Seinfeld fame). She and Alexander exchanged vows at a Las Vegas chapel, after a night of drinking. The marriage was annulled 55 hours later, although they're apparently still friends.

While the second single off In The Zone, "Toxic," is proving to be another hit for Britney, she is co-starring in a Gladiator-style Pepsi commercial with Beyonce, Pink and Enrique Iglesias. It's clear that whatever Britney does, she continues to rock us.

Despite the failure of Crossroads, we haven't seen the last of Britney on the big screen: she is set to appear in the 2007 comedy, In the Pink.

On the personal front, Britney married her former back-up dancer Kevin Federline on September 18, 2004, and after months of separation and weight gain rumors, Britney announced that she was pregnant with a baby boy, who she gave birth to in 2005. The young husband and wife would go on to have another child, a baby boy named Jayden in 2006, but ended up in court later that year when Britney filed for divorce on November 7, 2006. And since pissing away millions of Britney's hard earned cash wasn't enough for K-Fed, rumour has it that he is the one who "leaked" a home made sex video featuring Kevin and Britney from happier times. Like the weekend they got married.

Anna Nicole Smith Biography

Anna Nicole Smith Biography

Anna began working in topless bars in Houston, where she was actually noticed more for her rear than for her breasts. Her attributes were noticed by a photographer, and she quickly realized that she could use her body as a career tool. Anna's childhood dream had always been to become the next Marilyn Monroe, and this inspired her to make a name for herself.

After some cosmetic surgery, Anna was ready for the big time, and headed in the same direction as Marilyn Monroe. She entered the Playboy Cover Contest, and appeared on the cover of the magazine at the age of 24. Two years later in 1993 she was crowned Playmate of the Year.

Anna was born Vicki Lynn Hogan on November 28, 1967, in Mexia, Texas. Her father abandoned her and her mother when she was a child, and Anna was raised by her mother and aunt. When she was 17, Anna married Billy Smith, and that same year their son Danie was born into the world. Her life with Billy was short lived, and Anna now as a mother headed to Houston to turn over a new leaf. It was in Houston where Anna began her career dancing in topless bars.

She made her big screen debut in the 1994 slapstick comedy, "Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult", followed by an appearance in "The Hudsucker Proxy", starring Tim Robbins.

Anna's life has been about money, sex, drugs and even rock 'n' roll, she has also been labelled a beautiful plaything, a sexy blond vixen, and a conniving misguided gold digger.

Her marriage to oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall, sixty years her senior occurred on the 27th of June 1994. Anna had remained low profile, until Marshall's death in 1995. Marshall had left Anna with an inheritance, which was hotly contested by his heirs who claimed that she should not receive the wealth of his estate. Marshall's heirs accused her of mistreating him in his last few days and marrying him for his money. Anna was awarded $450 million after a court battle, to the chagrin of Marshall's family and heirs.

On August 4th, 2002, the E! channel began airing its first season of The Anna Nicole Show. Although Anna had gained a considerable amount of weight, viewers tuned in to watch Anna make a fool of herself week after week.

Before the second season started, producers of the show demanded that Anna drop some weight before shooting began, and with the help of TrimSpa, a supplement that claims to block fat from entering the body, Anna has trimmed down significantly and reportedly lost 80 pounds.

Although Anna Nicole now looks great, she no longer has a TV audience: The Anna Nicole Show was canceled in 2004, but we're confident that she'll have other projects on her plate soon enough.
